At Building Up Bold, our vision is to help you build the executive control skills that make everyday life easier and more successful. Whether you're a student, who wants to be a collegiate student-athlete, an entrepreneur, an artist or just trying to “be better”, we focus on helping you get organized, stay focused, manage your time, and make decisions with confidence. 

Our purpose is clear: to give you the tools you need to be your most authentic self, so you can handle challenges with confidence, reach your goals, and thrive. We believe that with the right skills, everyone has the potential to be BOLD no matter what path YOU choose.  

“Bold” means being courageous, confident, and unapologetically yourself. Growing up, teachers labeled me “bold” a word I didn’t always understand, but that eventually shaped who I am today. 

Boldness isn’t just about big acts; it’s about the everyday choices that require determination, planning, and an adaptive mindset. 

Hello! I’m Kinyatta, the founder of Building Up Bold. I’m a daughter, wife, and proud mom to three wonderfully busy kids (16, 14, and 10). I earned my BA in Sociology while juggling competitive athletics at Seattle Pacific University and the University of Washington, so I know a thing or two about balancing a lot at once!

I love helping students grow into independent, organized, and confident problem-solvers. I work with all students, but I especially enjoy supporting high schoolers, college students, and anyone navigating big transitions and parents who want a little extra guidance. My focus is on making time management, breaking tasks into doable steps, and creating smooth home routines feel simple and achievable.
